I met Heidi Nichol at the 'She Network', which is a women's business network based in Wolverhampton. As the honourary male ally in the group, I got to know Heidi over a few network meetings. She approached me to help her elevate her visibility for her new business, 'Lights On Counselling'.
In our discussions, Heidi mentioned that she was very nervous about putting herself out there but she wanted to do it anyway. We discussed her need for a website to showcase her new business and the services she wanted to provide. But we also discussed the importance of creating a brand for her new business, which would create a brand identity that made her business stand out.
We worked together to create a whole new brand identity for her business. This included a new logo, a brand colour palette of colours that Heidi can use to brand all her marketing graphics, and also a new business card with her new branding logo and colours on them too.
I then created her seven-page website for her new therapy business. I used the new branding identity we had created to design her website to give it a really strong feeling of quality and professionalism, but also a safe place to find out information about her therapy services and enquire about more information, or even get in touch to book an initial session with Heidi.
It was a pleasure to walk through this journey with Heidi and to see her come alive when she was talking about her new business, and to see her confidence grow too through the process. I regularly see her posting content about her business and promoting her services, and this is very satisfying as her digital visibility continues to confidently grow month on month.
